President Profile
Mitsuo Harada founded and started Nouvelle Vague Ltd. (currently Nouvelle Vague Co., Ltd.) in 1995 and expanded the business to cover a broad range of activities ranging from visual production, shop design and management and movie theatre management etc. In 2002, he made the decision to go to Australia to broaden his horizons and established Nouvelle Ozzy in Sydney, Australia specializing in shop design, production and management. In order to foster further self-independence and innovation in his employees, Nouvelle Vague Ltd. assigned its stock and a holding corporation split from it in 2009 to establish Nouvelle Co., Ltd. In 2011 the corporation changed its name to Nouvelle Holdings and Mitsuo Harada retired from his position as representative director which he served for approximately 16 years. All administrative authority was handed down to the next generation in order to pursue the further development of the new Nouvelle Unit.
Currently, he established Harada Inc. and is working to develop Japan’s visual art industry much more flexible and accepting a diverse range of values.
